National Key Lab of Pharmaceutical Preparation New Technology was built in December of 2007, and was approved by State Ministry of Science and Technology among the first group of key labs.

The lab is now specialized in basics of application, equipment technology, relevant product R&D of sustained-release and controlled-release drug delivery systems and microparticulate carrier system. It also researches on quality control and industrialization. Some of its programs have achieved results. While conducting R&D of new medicines, the lab has also published 20 articles in key journals both in China and abroad, applied 46 patents, 7 of which have been authorized.

The lab has always seen training and introduction of talent as the major tasks. Through years of effort, the lab now boasts a team of excellent researchers. Now it employs over 80 people, including over 10 doctors, over 40 masters. Over 60% percent of them hold master degrees or above.

During the time when the lab was under construction, YRPG invested RMB 33 million to introduce 234 piece of cutting-edge equipment, including 15 large instruments such as XXXXXX. All these instruments and machines have been put into use to aide research. With sufficient funds, we guaranteed construction of key labs and other research missions.

With the aim to improve effectiveness, the lab will continue to develop its platforms through R&D of products, while realize the made-in-China of high-end preparations through the development of platforms.
