Caring for the PLA and Carrying Medicines to Campsites
Since 1995, YRPG has been celebrating every Army's Day by giving medicine to and
hosting performances in PLA campsites around China through its sales network. Over
the past 10 years, YRPG has donated medicines, goods and cash worth over RMB 60
million yuan in total. And the company was awarded Model Unit for Caring the Army
and People many times.

In 1997, when YRPG learned that some of the honor guard of three services suffered
from gastric problems, varicosity and beriberi due to long-time training or wearing
riding boots, the group produced special medicines and sent them to Beijing. Since
then, every day before Army's Day, YRPG has visited the campsite of the honor guard.
In return, the honor guard gave YRPG a bronze board that read: "Close tie between
the Army and the Mass".
PLA represents the dignity of China, and health of PLA soldiers is the concern of
YRPG. The day before 2011 Army's Day, YRPG donated medicines worth RMB 3 million
yuan to hospitals of the Army and People's Armed Police and was welcomed by soldiers.
The ten types of medicine were mainly for injures of joints and soft tissues during
training and helped alleviate pains during training or daily life. In return, Lianyungang
Branch of Jiangsu People's Armed Police gave YRPG a pennant that read: "Love the
Army and People and build the Great Wall together", another witness to the close
tie between the Army and people.
The day before 2012 Army's Day, when YRPG went to the campsite of the honor guard
of three services to send medicines worth RMB 100,000 yuan, soldiers and officers
from the honor guard expressed their gratitude: "Many thanks for your unselfish
donation". By then, YRPG has donated medicines worth over RMB 2.7 million yuan,
showing its care and affection towards the most likeable people in the army and
carrying on the company's decades-long tradition of loving the army.
Farewell Ceremony for PLA to Hong Kong
To celebrate the deployment of PLA in Hong Kong, YRPG decided to donate RMB 2 million
yuan and cooperate with CCTV, PLA TV Broadcasting Center and the Political Department
of Guangzhou Military Region to host the gala Witness the Sacred Moment. Before
the departure of the army, when YRPG learnt that some of the soldiers were suffering
gastric problems, the group donated Weisu granules, a kind of independently developed
medicine, to the army. Jia Qingwang accepted the donation on behalf of the army.
Liu Zhenwu, the Commander in Chief, and Xiong Ziren, the Political Commissar, gave
Xu Jingren a bronze board that read: "Everyone cheers for the century-long return
of Hong Kong".

Tender Love from Mother Town of the Navy
In 2006, YRPG went with leaders of Taizhou to Zhoushan Naval Port in Zhejiang Province,
and was warmly welcomed by soldiers in Battleship "Taizhou". "Taizhou ", a modern
battleship named after the navy's birthplace Taizhou, was the largest warship in
tonnage, automation and comprehensive capabilities. It has also won many awards
including Advanced Unit for Military Discipline and Organization and Advanced Model
Fleet. This modern battleship also witnesses YRPG's patriotism and loving for the
army. During this visit, YRPG expressed greeting to the navy, donated RMB 100,000
yuan to improve soldiers living standard, and donated army-and-people cooperation
pact.

Love for Island Soldiers
On 2004 National Day, YRPG donated RMB 100,000 yuan to build a flagpole in Xisha
Islands, and Five-star national flag, a symbol of PRC sovereignty, began to rise
ever since. This year, on the day before August 1, Xu Jingren went through a long
journey to visit soldiers in Xisha. YRPG donated RMB 200,000 yuan and computers
worth RMB 50,000 yuan to improve training and cultural life on the island. To memorize
the visit, Xu went to Jiangjunlin (Forest of General) of Yongxing Island, the largest
island of Xisha, and planted a tree by himself as a symbol of "Uniting the army
and people to Build a Marine Great Wall in South China Sea".

A Reunion of Heroes and Their Mothers
In the 80th Anniversary of PLA in 2007, YRPG, PLA Armored Engineering Institute
and the Military Channel of Souhu co-hosted the celebration campaign "A Reunion
of Heroes and Their Mothers—Monument at the Age of Peace, and Mission of Safeguarding
All Human Beings". The campaign was well-received nationwide. In the campaign, YRPG
sponsored 80 mothers of PLA soldiers from all parts of China all the way.
