On April 19, the Workshop of Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group Analgesia Clinical Research Progress – Dizocine Satellite Meeting was held in Kerry Hotel Pudong. Anesthesiologists from major hospitals across China attended the report made by Professor Shi Xueyin of Shanghai Changzheng Hospital.
The satellite meeting was coincidence with the 2014 Anesthesiologist Association Annual Conference. Nearly 3,000 doctors attended the conference. The site was fully occupied with audience. Some doctor representatives took out papers or cameras to record the latest ideas on Dizocine clinical treatment.
This satellite meeting was chaired by Professor Yu Weifeng from the Affiliated Hepatology Hospital of Second Military Medical University and presided by Deng Xiaoming from Changhai Hospital of Shanghai. Professor Shi Xueyin was the main lecturer at the meeting, and Ji Weiqun, DGM of YRPG, addressed the conference.
Professor Shi Xueyin introduced the new ideas in treating pains especially in perioperative analgesia. He pointed out the importance of pain intervention and detailed the preventive analgesia, multi-model analgesia and patent self-controlled analgesia. The professor classified medicines used in analgesia, and highlighted the use of Dizocine produced by YRPG. He also explained hot issues related to Dizocine such as sleepiness and illustrated the advantages and characteristics of perioperative analgesia.
During the annual meeting, YRPG also organized Workshop on Epidural Analgesia by Dizocine and Workshop of Analgesia Medicine Progress and YRPG New Medicine. Through cooperation with experts, YRPG has been working to explore new opportunities of Dizocine in analgesia clinical treatment and using academic fronts to conduct research and development to provide effective medicine and clinical treatment plans for patients and doctors.
During the welcome banquet of Anesthetist Association, Professor Yu Weifeng and Xu Jingren delivered speeches. Xu Jingren extended thanks to experts for their attention to YRGO. He hoped they could strengthen ties and further maximize Dizocine’s advantages to benefit more patients. Yu Weifeng expressed his confidence on the higher level academic cooperation by the Association and YRPG in addition to congratulate the founding of the new committee.
