On March 20, the Inauguration Ceremony of Academician Workstation of Shanghai Haini Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. of Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group and 2014 Yangtze River Medical Technology Exchange and Project Matching Conference was opened in Shanghai Haijiya Club. Leaders from Shanghai Science and Technology Association, Pudong New District Science and Technology Committee, Pudong New District Science and Technology Association, Pudong Activity Center for Academician of Chinese Science Academy, Shanghai Academic Activity Center of Chinese Engineering Academy, Shanghai Bio-Medical Science Industrial Promotion Center, Shanghai Bio-Medical Industrial Association, etc. attended the ceremony and matching activity.
At 9:00 a.m., the inauguration ceremony of Academician Workstation of Shanghai Haini Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. of Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group was started amid loud applause from pharmaceutical peers around China. Lu Xianfeng, GM assistant of YRPG, Ding Haitao, Vice Chairman of Pudong Science and Technology Committee and Association chaired the meeting. Lv Qiang, Chief Science Officer, briefed on the R&D of YRPG in recent years. Academician Chen Kaixian, Academician Yang Shengli, Academician Hou Huimin and Academician Ding Jian were appointed experts of the workstation.
Xu Jingren, Chairman of YRPG expressed his hope on the Academician Workstation of Shanghai Haini Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., and presented certificated of appointment to the four academicians. He said that YRPG had always been concentrating on R&D and actively introducing R&D teams made of overseas returnees. The station would further enhance the Group’s independent innovation after its completion. It would fully use the advantage of research and development in China and resources from abroad to lower cost, improve quality and improve the company’s competitiveness in domestic and global pharmaceutical market.
Yang Jianrong, Party Secretary of Shanghai Science and Technology Association, and Tang Shiqing, Director of Pudong New District Science and Technology Association unveiled the nameplate of the station. Academic Chen Kaixian delivered an inspiring speech. He said YRPG would use this workstation to concentrate innovative resources, make breakthroughs, promote industry-institute-university cooperation, which would promote pharmaceutical industry in China. Academician Yang Shengli and Academician Ding Jian also reported on the cutting-edge bio-medical technologies in China and overseas and exchange ideas with experts.
The 2014 Yangtze River Medical Technology Exchange and Project Matching Conference was held in Yangji Club in the afternoon, Xu Jingren and responsible persons of YRPG subsidiaries discussed one-on-one with research institutes, universities, pharmaceutical institutes, and R&D service providers.
