Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group Enter the List of China's Top 500 Companies

On August 31, the China's Top 500 Companies was released by China Enterprise Confederation in Kunming of Yunnan Province. Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group was again on the list, with its ranking up to the 308th from the 326th of last year, being the only Taizhou-based key company to enter the list. Xu Haoyu, the vice Chairman of the Company, received the award. Since the beginning of this year, Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group has been sticking to scientific development, accelerating the restructuring, and stressing the research and innovation. The Company has further optimized and improved the operational quality with good momentum in the growth of production, sale, and profit.
China's Top 500 Companies is a list that has been published for 12 consecutive years. It is widely acknowledged as a barometer of China's economic situation. In 2013, the total assets of China's top 500 companies reached 15.098 billion yuan. Sinopec's business revenue reached 2.83061 trillion yuan, being the top of the list. The top ten companies were mainly from energy, banking, telecommunication, and construction and building industry. The threshold for this year's Top 500 Companies has risen to 19.87 billion yuan, up by 2.36 billion yuan. Among the top 500, up to 123 companies have the business revenues of over 100 billion yuan, and up to 86 companies also entered the Fortune 500, with higher rankings than before.
