On July 17, 2013, the 30th National Pharmaceutical Industry Information Annual Conference was held in Shanghai, where the most authoritative 2012 Top 100 Companies in National Pharmaceutical Industry list was revealed. Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group won the third place in Top 100 Companies in National Pharmaceutical Industry and the Best Company for Research and Development Product line. This is the fourth time for the Company to attain the top-three position in the first-class club of China's pharmaceutical companies since 2009. Along with Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group to enter the top three were Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Holdings Limited, Xiuzheng Pharmaceutical Group, Jumpcan Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and SZJJ Croup Pharmaceutical Limited of Taizhou ranked 44th and 62th place in the list.
This year's annual conference, themed" innovation, rise, dream", revolved the current affairs and policies, trends of research and development, strategies for sales and hotspots for investment. The event, with corporate representatives from different industries in the light of their own specialties and focus, featured leaders from various walks of life and experts in different fields to discuss the innovation path for companies, promote the industries and make China a great power for pharmaceutical industry. There had been 30 National Pharmaceutical Industrial Information Annual Conferences since its birth in the 1950s, which saw China's pharmaceutical industry start from scratch and embark on the road of rapid growth against all odds, and providing a bridge and platform for promoting industrial exchange, transferring cutting-edge technology, promoting industrial development and enhancing research and development standards at the same time. Leaders from the Consumer Goods Industrial Division of China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, Medicine Policy Division of Health and Family Planning Commission, and China Pharmaceutical Industry Information Center and Pharmaceutical Industrial Management Association presented the prizes to winners.
