On August, the China Top 500 Companies list was published by China Association of Enterprises in Kunming, Yunnan. Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group again entered the list, with is position up from 326th place last year to this year's 308th place, being the only key enterprise in Taizhou to enter the Top 500 Companies list. Xu Haoyu, Vice Chairman of Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group, went to receive the award. Over the past year, Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group has maintained the momentum in growth of production, sales and profits and optimized and improved the quality of operation through scientific development, step-up of structural restructuring and focus on research & development innovation.
There have been 12 releases of China Top 500 Companies, which was seen as the barometer of China's economy. The total assets of China Top 500 in 2013 were 150.98 trillion yuan. Among the list, Sinopec's revenue hit 2.83016 trillion yuan, making itself No.1 in the list. The top ten companies were concentrated in energy, banking, communications and construction industry. The threshold for the list had leveled up to 19.87 billion, with a growth of 2.36 billion yuan. There were 123 companies that reached the total revenue of over 100 billion yuan. 86 companies entered the Fortune 500 with relatively higher ranking.
