The Consumer Goods Industrial Division of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has recently published the bulletins on the total assets, revenues from main business and total profit of the companies in pharmaceutical industry. Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group won the second place in the revenues from main business and total profit and the ninth place in total assets, demonstrating good potential for future growth and profitability.
According to the bulletin ranks, Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Holdings Limited, Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group and Xiuzheng Pharmaceutical Group ranked the top three in main business revenues; Wego Holding, Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group and Buchang Pharma ranked the top three in total profit; Sinopharm, Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Holdings Limited and North China Pharmaceutical Group ranked the top three.
How did Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group make rapid growth possible under the complex economic climate? This was mainly due to its having changed the sales pattern and structure of products, improved its innovative capability significantly and improved its industrial chains. In 2012, Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group's output, sales and tax and profit grew by 18.7%, 19.2% and 27.7% respectively, with all major economic indicators reaching historic new highs. The Company have won first prize in QC team of China's pharmaceutical industry for 8 consecutive years. Won National Advanced Enterprise for Excellent Performance, No.1 Company in Comprehensive Strength in Chemical Pharmaceutical Industry, Enterprise Technological Innovation Prize in Jiangsu, Jiangsu Advanced Community-Level Party Organization, Taizhou Mayor Quality Prize among ten awards and honors. Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group also entered the top three of the top 100 companies in China's pharmaceutical industry, Top 500 Companies of China and Top 100 Taxpayers in Jiangsu with higher position in pharmaceutical industry.
Every year, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology publishes the bulletins on the total assets, revenues from main business and total profit of the companies in pharmaceutical industry; the Ministry then ranked the pharmaceutical companies based on the bulletins. This statistics used the industrial legal person as the basis and the used the consolidated statements for the legal person using consolidated statements. The subsidiaries that were based on the consolidated statements and were covered by the scope of business were not on the rank separated. Four of Taizhou companies were on the rank including Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group, Jumpcan Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., SZJJ Croup Pharmaceutical Limited and Aland Nutraceutical Group.
