Jiangsu Leadership Team of Enhancing Jiangsu through Quality published the list of prize winners of Jiangsu Excellent Quality Management Prize. Three companies including Goodbaby Co., Ltd. won Jiangsu Quality Prize. Ten companies including Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group won Jiangsu Excellent Quality Management Prize. Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group was the only pharmaceutical company in Jiangsu to win the Jiangsu Excellent Quality Management Prize.
Through a host of procedures including application, recommendation, quality review, material review, inquiries, defense, on-site review, comprehensive evaluation, etc., the leadership team selected the organizations for Jiangsu Quality Prize and Jiangsu Excellent Quality Management Prize for 2012. In 2012, the Company took an active part in the competition of provincial and municipal awards and passed the on-site review to win Mayor of Taizhou Quality Prize. This time, Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group won the Jiangsu Excellent Quality Management Prize, which paved the way for winning the Quality Prize and also helped itself to gain the experience for appraisal.

Jiangsu Quality Prize is awarded to organizations that have achieved performance excellence management, significant economic benefits and social benefits. It is an annual prize awarded to three to five organizations. The standards for Jiangsu Quality Prize follow the GB/T19580 Criteria for Performance Excellence and GB/Z19579 Guidance for Using Criteria for Performance Excellence. The applicants shall pass GB/T19001-ISO9001 quality management system or other internationally applicable quality management systems and shall be effectively run for over three years and using group performance excellence model for over three years. The provincial people's government awards the organizations that win the Jiangsu Quality Prize, present plaques and certificates and offer 1 million in one lump sum. There are no more than 10 Jiangsu Excellent Quality Management Prizes every year.
