On March 7, Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group held the 29th Quality Month Summary Meeting to conclude the first quality month in this year. Xu Jingren, Chairman of Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group, addressed the meeting. Xu Liqin, Vice General Manager, Liang Yuantai, Assistant to General Manager, Lu Xianfeng, Yang Maochang and principals of different departments and other major senior officers of production and quality control attended the meeting.

Liang Yuantai spoke on behalf of quality month leadership teams. This quality month, themed "being detail-oriented, focus on management foundation and consistency evaluation on quality", is conducted with its focus on the GMP certification, SOP integrated upgrade, one-off evaluation on generics, etc. To make this quality month well-targeted, focused, the Company combined the state laws and regulations, and analyzed and planned from two aspects of the consistency of generics and new-version GSP policy. In response to the new state policies laws and regulations, the quality control departments were taking the lead in formulating the service-oriented evaluation rules and procedures for medicine-related laws, analyzed and interpreted the latest medicine policies and enforced the laws and regulation. Meanwhile, the Company sorted out the existing medicines in accordance with laws and regulation and confirmed the product basic information list. While admitting the achievement, Liang Yuantai also pointed out the problems of this quality month. He wished all workshops could further specify the drug quality management, strengthen personnel training, timely correct problems spotted in this quality month and make further progress in the basics of ensuring quality.

At the conference, Xu Jingren explained the relationship between Chinese Dream and quality building based on the implementing the spirit of the two conferences, the spirit of President Xi Jinping's speech and the reality of China's food and drug quality. Mr. Xu said that the essence of Chinese Dream was quality. To build China a prosperous, happy and civilized socialist country, all the society should work hard, put the quality at the most paramount place, be strict and focused on the quality and implement the quality policies. On the subject of strengthening drug quality, Xu Jingren said that quality came from design and production rather than test. He said employees of Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group shall stay faithful on improving quality, be strict with details, strictly follow the international advanced quality standard system, and produce reliable and safe drugs. This was also how Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group should realize the value of Chinese Dream.

On the conference, the outstanding groups during the quality month were awarded. The No.2 Solid Preparation Workshop won the first prize; the No.2 Freeze Dry Powder Preparation and Quality Test Center won the second prizes; the No.2 Public Engineering Workshop, No.1 Transfusion Workshop and Anti-Cancer Solid Preparation Workshop won the third prizes.
