To enrich employees' cultural life, further create a harmonious, healthy and active cultural atmosphere and greet the coming of the Year of Snake, Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group held the 10^th Opera Competition in Weilingxian Hall of Haiyan Hotel on February 16 to February 17. 10 performances entered the final stage out of the 24 recommended performances. Xu Haoyu, the Vice Chairman, and hundreds of Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group employees watched the competition. This performance had a clear theme and was shown in a diversity of forms: there were amusing plays, humorous cross talks and brilliant and graceful dances. Most of the performances were based on corporate values, corporate culture, corporate development and marketing, expressing Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group's pursuit of truth, cause of safeguarding public health, love for the Company and altruistic devotion to human beings.
The competition started amid the song and dance by the Drug Research Institute. The sketch Finding the Witness depicted a person of heroic deed and was wronged as an offender. In the play, a dog was the witness. The story was well structured, profound yet accessible to the audience, reflecting hot issues in the society with a small incident as a perspective. A Year of Reunion expressed a couple from two different faraway hometowns and argued drastically about where they should go to for the reunion of the new year and, in the end, their parents were invited to spend the new year in Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group. The Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group Encyclopedia, using humorous and amusing word, introduced Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group's corporate culture, brand, products and subsidiaries, illustrated the profound changes of the Company. The humorous and vivid performance won applause from the audience.
Finding the Witness by No.1 Company won the first prize and the Best Performance Prize, Stories in the Drug Store by No.6 Company and Love Stories of the Pub by No.7 Company won the Second Prize.
Han Lancheng, a famous cross talk artist, commented the performance at the end of the competition. He expressed his appreciation on the ideas, artistic value and public appeal of the competition. He praised the fact that the company has held opera competition held in the past ten years to enrich the corporate culture. He also offered advice on hosting the competition in the next year.
The Company has held opera competitions for 10 consecutive years, with the competition growing increasingly popular among the employees and managers. Over the past ten years, the scale of competition has been expanding and the artists' performance has been growing mature with better and better quality. In particular, some of the works were created by Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group employees based on life and making the more out of life, expressing the enterprising and vigorous spirit of Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group employees. Xu Haoyu, the Vice Chairman, expressed his appreciation of the works. He encouraged the teams to further improve their performance and creativity, love their job, fulfill their duties and contribute further to the Company.
