On May 31, Department of Public Health of Sichuan Province and YRPG held the signing ceremony of strategic cooperation. Shen Ji, head of Department of Public Health of Sichuan Province, and Xu Jingren, chairman of YRPG,  signed on the strategic cooperation on behalf of both sides.
Xu Jingren addressed the signing ceremony. He claimed that YRPG was always devoted to offering effective quality medicine and health services, always bearing in mind the mission of promoting national medicine. So far, YRPG had produced over 20 types of products whose quality has met US and European Pharmacopoeia Standards. Some of YRPG's workshops had been certified by EU GMP. Xu Jingren anticipated more help, especially policy assistance in the future development of YRPG from the health department of Sichuan Province. Shen Ji gave a brief introduction to the development of pharmaceutical industry of Sichuan and relevant favorable policies. He welcomed YRPG to develop pharmaceutical industry in Sichuan.
Accompanied by Lu Peimin, member of Taizhou standing committee and secretary-general of municipal government, and Xu Jingren, chairman of the Group, Shen Ji visited New Medicine Institute, Freeze-Dried Powder Injection Workshop and No. 2 Solid Preparation Workshop with his delegation on May 30. During the visit, Shen knew about the development of YRPG in the recent years and experience of independent R&D, Quality Control, etc. Shen Ji was deeply impressed by the advanced production facilities, modern management modes and R&D power. Shen Ji praised the fast development of the Group when told the main economic and technical indicators in 2011 increased by 10%over the last year, which marked a good start for the 12^thFive-Year Plan. He said it is the enterprise's responsibility to guarantee the quality of medicine. It was worth learning that YRPG put large amount of money in the promotion of technology, quality and talents, constantly cultivated the core competitiveness and built a solid foundation to take the lead in the market. He hoped YRPG could have more cooperation with Sichuan and boost Chinese pharmaceutical industry. During the 12^thFive-Year Plan, YRPG planned to establish Chengdu Branch in the New District of Southwest Airport Development Zone in order to further its development. The main projects covered Chinese herbal slices, large volume parenteral, capsules, tablets and granules.
