In March 2012, the 27^thQuality Monthbegan in YRPG. On 1^stMarch, Executive Assistant Liang Yuantai launched the kick-off meeting and announcedobjectivesfor this activity. Managers from R&D department, production department, quality department, marketing department and front-line technology backbones attended this meeting.
The Quality Month activity of this year focusedon enhancing training to improve employees' work capacity. The training aimedat improving service awareness of front-line managersand topping upall the workers’ knowledgeon sterile microbiology. Another aimwas to help workshops speed up passing the new GMP. After the implementation of new GMP, YRPG has reformed the old workshops, and adjustedthe plan of workshops under construction. Thanks to all staff’s concerted effort, 5 dosage forms from 4 workshops (No.3 Hydro-acupunctureWorkshop, Cef-Solid Dosage Forms Workshop, Antitumor Solid Dosage Forms Workshop, and Transfusion workshop) have so far passedthe new GMP.
With its theme "To catch up with model foreign companies, to carry out product excellence activities, to reinforce the basis of quality management, and to implement quality improvement project", the Quality Monthsets new criteriaonquality improvementand in an effort to meet  international standards. At the meeting, YRPG’s chief engineer Weng Xintai introduced in details and promoted Roche’s experience. He asked the front-line managers and workers to regulate SOP, pay attention to details, seekbreakthroughs on product quality so as tocatch up with the international standards, which will propel YRPG for international cooperation. Besides, YRPG will improvequality management, carry out labor competitions and summaries on experience and practice during this quality month to make sure the success of the event.
