On 25^thMarch, Li Xueyong, Vice Secretary of CPU Jiangsu Provincial Committee and Governor of Jiangsu Province, paid a visit to YRPG.
Mr. Li Xueyong was impressed by the big change of YRPG in the last 4 years. In the No.2 Freeze-Dried Powder workshopand the No.2 Oral Liquid workshop, he saw the advanced manufacturing facilities and automatic production line, and he told workshop managers to strictly control product quality. In the R&D lab, he was glad to hear that there are near 100 doctors and certain high-level R&D talents. He said that talents are the key to the science and technology innovation and therefore should be valued.
During the visit, Mr. Li Xueyong knew that YRPG has taken innovation as the strategic point of development; YRPG is transforming from “Made inYRPG" to "Created inYRPG" by industry-university-institute cooperation and gathering the international resources. With itsadvantages intalents, R&D innovation,and high quality, YRPG could enhance competitiveness and become one of the leadingpharmaceutical companies in the world.
As Mr. Li Xueyong pointed out, compared to the downturnof many industries in present difficult economic situation, pharmaceutical industry has a promising outlook. Therefore, pharmaceutical industry should continue to innovate, cultivate high-quality branded products and be ready for future development. He urged YRPG to seize the timing, use the advantages of the big industry scale and sufficient talents and speed up the business transformation so as to contributeto Taizhou’s economy.
