January 29, the eighth day of the first month in Chinese lunar calendar, witnessed the Ninth Folk Art Competition of Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group with 10 representative teams from internal and external group involved therein. Chairman Xu Jingren, along withcadres and employees,attended the competition together. The short actingUnexpecteddepictedthat a bogusdoctor, who was intended to work in YRPG, was wrecked by gaffer Fang from west China. A real PhD candidate and a fake PhD candidate, one anxious andanother pleased, their brilliant dialogues and exquisite performance cheered the audience, which reflected the Group’s desire for talents from another aspect. The Real Lovetolda story between a salesman and two beautiful ladies. Its ingenious design and continuous "laughingstocksamuses" the audiences enormously. The comic dialogue Housework War enabled audienceto feel their love in hard times through the quarrels between a couple. It also represented the sentiment of YRPG staff to dedicate their private family to the public. Brilliant folk art performance was written,directed and performed by themselveswere well-acclaimed by the audiences. Finally, the short actingThe Real Love won the first prize of Best Performance, the short actingUnexpected and Peephole won the second prize.
These works edited and performed by employees themselves have fully demonstratedthe ethosof YRPG. "I feel rather honored to participate in the folk art competition, which not only provides us a stage to practice our artistic talent but deliver happiness to the festival and life of the public", the employee Huang Ningning expressed his deep feelings.
After the competition, Chairman Xu Jingren praised the brilliant performance of various teams and hoped them to create more works from life, further promote the performance level, accomplish their due work, make unceasing innovation and control the quality strictly so as to establish the sound enterprise image of YRPG and make due contributions to the developmentof YRPG.
Han Lancheng, a renowned comic dialogue performance artist, was invited as the judge of the competition. He saidthe folk art competition was a great stage to display the features of YRPG employees. The comic dialogues ofthis year were significantly improved in quality than those in previous year. The flourishing corporateculture of YRPG impressed him a lot.
