On August17, the 28^th National Pharmaceutical Industry Information Annual Meeting was heldin Shanghai, hosted by China National Pharmaceutical Industry Information Center and China Pharmaceutical Enterprises Association. The list of 2010 NationalPharmaceutical Industry Top 100was released at the meeting. YRPG continues to rank first; Xiuzheng Pharmaceutical and Harbin Pharmaceutical Group rank second and third respectively. Xu Haoyu, deputy chairman of the board, accepted the award.
The list of NationalPharmaceutical Industry Top 100 was based on Chinese pharmaceuticals statistical annual report of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). This statistical annual report playedan important role in policy-making. Being in Top 100 was an advantage forprovincial medicine bid andprocurement. Apart from Top 100, 2011 NationalPharmaceutical R&D Product Line Excellent Enterprise and 2011 National Pharmaceutical Industry Most Valuable Investment Enterprise were released too. On August18, 2010, YRPG for the first time ranked top 1 among 2009 Top 100 in NationalPharmaceutical Industry at Shanghai.
As an officer of Consumer Goods Industry Department of MIIT said, authoritative, fair and detailed data not only reflectedthe status quo of industry development, but also provides an important reference of industry development trends and make policies for policy makers. MIIT wouldcontinue to complete the statistical system about pharmaceutical enterprises, and expect those enterprises to offer true data.
