On April 8, hosted by Science and Technology Department of Sichuan Province and undertaken by YRPG, Transformation of Biopharmaceutical Project Achievements & Top Talents Introduction Fair was held in Jinjiang Hotel of Chengdu.

Deputy Director Zhou Menglin spoke about the development of Sichuan Pharmaceutical Industry and the 12^thFive-year plan. He pointed out that radical changes were taking place in China's pharmaceutical industry. As far as future development trend of pharmaceutical industry was concerned, China Pharmaceutical Industry will usher in a golden decade. During the twelfth five-year plan, biomedical industry wouldgrow rapidly and wasexpected to reach 5 trillion. We should grasp opportunities, foster and strengthen a series of leading enterprises in pharmaceutical industry, and promote the healthy and rapid development of Sichuan biomedical industry.
Xu Jingren said that YRPG would seize opportunities, make full use of Sichuan resources and policy advantages. During the 12^th Five-year plan, YRPG would expand investment in Sichuan, help carry out a good many projects, promote the transformation of technological achievements, introduce top talents, make itself the pilot in biomedical industry in China, and strive to become an enterprise worth hundreds of millions. YRPG planned to invest 2.4 billion Yuan for Sichuan to adjust the product structure and increase productivity, making itself an example of outstanding non-local investors.
Experts and professionals from Sichuan pharmaceutical industry discussedthe research & development of biopharmaceuticals, the introduction of advanced medical talents and YRPG’s plan of expanding investment in Sichuan. The signing ceremony of letter of intent on cooperation of key medical projects was held. It was an important progress in promoting university-industry cooperation and the transformation of technological achievements.
