The new GMP was officially implemented on March 1 this year, which would have a great influence on improving drug quality, ensuring safe use of drugs, and enhancing the development of the medicine industry. How would YRPG prepare for the new GMP certification? How would YRPG face new challenges concerningsurvival and development?
On March 1, YRPG launched its 25th Quality Month activity themed"Being apioneerin implementing the new GMP, to ensure product safety". At the kick-off meeting, administrators from R&D Department, Production Department, Quality Department, Operating Department, etc. gathered and studied the strategy for prospering YRPG based on quality. "All departments and subsidiaries shall organize staff to study the new GMP, find out our gaps and narrow them. Make a specific scheme to implement the new GMP, combining with our development strategy and the requirement of production and sales. We must take the lead in achieving the new GMP."This is the requirement for quality improvement from group leaders.
According to the provisions of the new GMP, blood products, vaccines, injection and other sterile products must meet the new GMP’s requirements by December 31, 2013. The new GMP helped pharmaceutical enterprises to enhance the construction of medicine quality management system, improve quality management of employees. The new GMP provided regulations for managing operation procedure, production records and other documents in details, giving enterprises much guidance, and enriching safety measures.
In YRPG, there were a variety of products, including injection products, and many workshops including existing workshops and those under construction. YRPG would focus on improving medicine quality control system and selecting a group of injection drug forms and varieties to pass the new GMP certification. This would help the group develop efficiently.
According to the Quality Month activity arrangement, YRPG would launch the following activities:

• Inviting experts from Taizhou Food and Drug Administration for new GMP training
• Making a scheme for new GMP certification and improving the production quality management system
• Making and promoting software templates
• Holding knowledge competitions
• Organizing acceptance
• Summarizing activities

At this meeting, Advanced Groups of last year' Quality Month were commended.
