The Top 10 Moving Characters ofTaizhou and Moral Models of Taizhou from 2008 to 2010 were announced a few days ago. At the awarding ceremony on the afternoon of December 30, Zhang Yunquan, Chen Yanping, He Jianzhong, national moral models of Taizhou municipality with the first and second groups ofTop 10 Characters winners presented awards to the winners.
The ceremony was sponsored by YRPG, which sent 60 staff to attend the award ceremony. With their corporate philosophy “Seeking progress all the time and safeguarding health for all human beings”, they cheered for the new moral models and learned from their stories.
It is reported that the selection activities, jointly held by Taizhou Municipal Propaganda Department, Municipal Civilization Office, the Political Department of Taizhou Military Area of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, Municipal Labor Unions, Municipal Council of the Communist Youth League, Municipal Women’s Federation, Taizhou Daily Newspaper, and Municipal Broadcasting &TV Station, got wide attention and welcome in Taizhou. Through votes of the public and the organizing committee, 11 persons (two of them were selected together) were awarded. Another 10 persons got Honorable Mention Awards.
Leaders of Taizhou Municipality, Miao Zhihong, Wang Hongwei, Cao Yumei, Yin Meijuan, and Zhong Jiansheng, Sectary-general of Municipal Party Committee attended the award ceremony. Ji Weiqun, Vice president of YRPG was also invited to attend the award ceremony.
