On December 13, the 1^st China (Taizhou) International Medical Expo themed with “Innovating pharmaceutical development and leading a healthy future” opened in the Convention and Exhibition Center of China Medical City.
Abdulahat Abdurixit, Vice chairman of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), and Luo Zhijun, Secretary of Jiangsu Provincial Committee of the CPC, jointly started the opening device. Certain officials attended the opening ceremony, such as Li Xueyong, Deputy Secretary of CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, Acting Governor and Secretary of the Leading Party Group of Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government &, Wang Weizhong, Vice Minister of Science and Technology, Liu Qian, Deputy Minister of Health, Li Yunfeng, Member of provincial party committee & Secretary General, Bao Guoxin, Vice Chairman of CPPCC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, Li Jipin, Deputy Director of State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA), Li Daning, Deputy Director of State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine (SATCM), Fan Jinlong, Secretary-General of the provincial government, and Xu Hubin, Secretary-General of China Council for Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT).
As the pioneer of provincial and municipal medicine industry, YRPG gave a new appearance at the Medical Expo, showing their business philosophy of " Benefit the general public through quality and innovation". YRPG also publicized and promoted its own products. This not only drew attention of media, but also attracted officials' visits and inspections.
Located in No.1 booth of the themed area, YRPG's booth had many visitors. Series of YRPG's products were at display. At about 3:40 p.m. officials such as Abdulahat Abdurixit, Luo Zhijun, and Li Xueyong visited YRPG's booth. "I have heard of YRPG, and hope you have a bright future." said Abdulahat Abdurixit, shaking hands with Xu Jingren. Luo Zhijun and Li Xueyong also inquired its development, and asked, "How many innovative medicines are in research by YRPG?" Xu Jingren, Chairman of YRPG said that YRPG now carried out the innovative strategy of research and development of chemical medicine, traditional Chinese medicine and biological medicine at the same time, to push the progress by leaps and bounds. The officials spoke highly of YRPG's outstanding performance and innovative efforts, and expected much of YRPG's future development.
The 1^st China (Taizhou) International Medical Expo was jointly held by Ministry of Science and Technology, Ministry of Health, SFDA, SATCM, CCPIT, and People’s Government of Jiangsu Province. More than 800 universities, research institutes, enterprises, medical institutions, and high-tech parks gathered at the Expo. They showed their new technologies and products in biotechnology and new medicine fields, and hold many activities, such as project discussions, transaction of outcome, high-level forum and so on.
