On December 31, YRPG 2010Year-End Work Conference & Employee Representative Conference was held in the brightly-lit international conference center of Petrel Hotel with a jubilant atmosphere. Over 1,000 cadres and employees from YRPG and subsidiaries gathered, and talkedabout the blueprint and bidedfarewell to the past harvest year.
Leaders, includingZhang Lei,Municipal Party Secretary,Lu Peimin,Deputy Mayor, and Wang Jian,District Party Secretary, attended the conference. YRPG leaders such as Xu Jingren, Xu Haoyu, Ji Shouru, Xu Weiquan, Ji Hongquan, Xu Liqin, Ji Weiqun and Yu Yutong were also present.
Atthe conference, Xu Jingren made the work report Promote Innovation and Change Growth Pattern, Accelerate Qualification and Expand International Market, and Embrace 90^th Anniversary of CPC and 40^th Anniversary of YRPG with Outstanding Performance. He pointed out that YRPG employees transformed the pressure to incentives, turned challenges to opportunities, occupied market by improving the quality standard and modifying the product structure, and promoted sales by improving the service and transforming growth pattern. The annual growth rates for all main economic indexes stood at over 30%, achieving historic records.
In 2010, No. 2 Solid Preparation Workshop was certified by EU GMP. YRPG became the champion for the sixth time in pharmaceutical industry with 57 QC gold award achievements. YRPG’s statuses as Chine Enterprise Top 500, China Manufacturing Industry Top 500, National Private Enterprise Top 500 and National Taxation Top 500 are further consolidated and advanced. In August, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology convened a press conference, in which YRPG topped the 2009 National Pharmaceutical Industry Top 100 and was among Top 10 National Pharmaceutical Innovative Enterprises.
Chairman Xu Jingren summarized YRPG annual working performance from nine aspects, including research & development innovation, sales innovation, production guarantee, quality construction, human resources, internal management and control, anti-corruption, affiliates development and cultural construction. Recognizing the achievements, Chairman Xu analyzed the problems lying in YRPG development and the new situations. He emphasized that faced with the aggressive development momentum, all YRPG employees should enhance the awareness of hardship, elevate goals, insist on the expansion strategy, occupy the commanding height, and duly undertake the mission for the better and faster development of YRPG.
Xu Jingren pointed out that in 2011 YRPG should study the spirits of the 15^th Session of the 17^th CPC National Congress and Jiangsu Economic Working Conference, implement the people’s livelihood concept of high quality and innovation to the benefit of people, further promote reform and innovation, catch up with advanced domestic and international technologies, gather important resources, enhance independent innovation, promote the transformation of product patterns, and welcome the 90^th anniversary of CPC and the 40^th anniversary of YRPG with outstanding performance.
Zhang Lei, on behalf of municipal party committee and municipal government, acknowledged and congratulated the achievements of YRPG in the past year. He said that YRPG sales were over 10 billion yuan in 2006 and rose to 25 billion yuan in 2010, realizing steady and fast breakthroughs one after another. YRPG’s successful practice showed that human resources were the root of enterprise success, innovation was the core of enterprise success, and management was the guarantee of enterprise success. We were assured that at the new starting point of the twelfth five-year plan, oriented towards a longer future, YRPG would broaden its vision, aim higher, and forge more firmly, and make unremitting efforts to enter Fortune 500 as early as possible. YRPG would certainly insist on the concept of protecting public health in the pursuit of better and faster development, make contributions to society as well as continuously expand itself, bring benefit to the masses, and provide the inexhaustible source for building a century’s standing enterprise and realizing sustainable development. He indicated that municipal party committee and municipal government would support the development of YRPG as always and encourage the progress of YRPG.
The conference rewarded the outstanding groups and outstanding individuals, including 42 outstanding groups and 40 outstanding cadres, 51 labor models and 343 outstanding workers. Municipal and district leaders and YRPG leaders presented the awards.
