On October 23, at the Jiangsu Private Economic Work Conference, Jiangsu Party Committee and Jiangsu People's Government commended a batch of outstanding private enterprises and twenty outstanding private entrepreneurs. YRPG and its Chairman Xu Jingren won the awards respectively. Chairman Xu Jingren attended the Conference and received the awards.
In the 2010 China Top 500 Enterprises and the Top 500 Private Enterprises, YRPG ranked 328^thand 55^th respectively. Meanwhile, YRPG ranked the top among the National Pharmaceutical Industry Top 100. The above honors show the favorable development and increasing social contribution of YRPG.
Private enterprises play an increasingly important role in developing economy and improving the people's livelihood, increasing employment, and safeguarding social stability. It is reported that since the "11th five-year plan", the private enterprises have been doubled in four years, with an average annual increase of 15%. At present, Jiangsu rank first for many years with 998,000 private enterprises and 2.873 million industrially-owned businesses. Among National Top 500 Private Enterprises, 129 enterprises were from Jiangsu. In the National Top 100 Private Enterprises, the total of 35 enterprises is from Jiangsu, Shagang Group, Suning Group, and Yurun Group ranking 1^stand 2^ndand 7^th respectively. The awarded units and entrepreneurs in the Conference are enterprises standing out in innovation, development, management, enterprise credit and social contribution, as well as entrepreneurs standing out in starting a business, stewardship, integrity, credibility, and public service.
