YRPG Ranked 328th Among Top 500 Chinese Enterprises

Top 500 Chinese Enterprises Issuance of 2010 and China Large Enterprises Summit, sponsored by China enterprise confederation and China Enterprise Directors Association, was held in Hefei on the afternoon of September 4. Three major Chinese enterprise ranking lists were publicized, including Top 500 Chinese Enterprises of 2010, Top 500 Chinese Manufacturing Enterprises of 2010 and Top 500 Chinese Service Enterprises of 2010. With the revenue of 18,030,280,000 Yuan, YRPG ranked 328thamong Top 500 Chinese Enterprise of 2010 (346th in 2009) and 172ndamong Top 500 Chinese Manufacturing Enterprises (191stin 2009) with improved overall economic strength.
Enterprises under the direct administration of central government occupied top 10 of Top 500 Chinese Enterprises of Year 2010 with China Petrochemical Corporation ranking 1stwith the revenue of 1390 billion Yuan for consecutively six years. The total revenue of top 500 enterprises reached 2.76 trillion Yuan with the net increase of 1.6 trillion Yuan compared with last year; in which, the total revenue of top 3 enterprises reached 3.86 trillion Yuan, accounting for 14% of that of top 500 enterprises. This year the average revenue of top 500 enterprises reached 55.25 billion Yuan with an increase of 6.27% compared with last year. The total assets of top 500 enterprises reached 91.3 trillion Yuan with the average assets of 183.31 billion Yuan, increasing by 22.02% compared with last year. The average owner's equity representing the investment returns was 32.12 billion Yuan with an increase of 16.89% compared with last year. Influenced by the international financial crisis and the economic stimulation policy, the ranking threshold of Top 500 Chinese Enterprises of Year 2010 has increased from the original 10.54 billion Yuan to 11.08 billion Yuan.
It was the ninth time for China enterprise confederation and China Enterprise Directors Association to publicize Top 500 Chinese Enterprises and the analysis report to the society ever since 2002. With the theme of "New Stage: Responsibilities and Missions of Large Enterprises", over 1000 persons including representatives from nationwide Top 500 enterprises, representatives of multinational companies, experts, scholars, representatives of the governmental departments and news units attended the meeting. The government officials, entrepreneurs, domestic and foreign experts and scholars carried out in-depth exchanges and discussions on the globalization of Chinese enterprises in the post-financial crisis era, the financial reform, enterprise’s growth, the commercial future of digital age, the innovation and competitiveness of enterprises and the newly-emerging industry development.
Large enterprises are the engine for China's economic growth, the leading force in industrial reconstructing, and the pioneer of the technical innovation of the overall national power competition. Generally speaking, however, these large enterprises still lag behind internationally-renowned large enterprises in terms of the quantity, scale, management, mechanism, innovation ability and international operation, which cannot match China’s status and size of economy. In 2010, 54 Chinese enterprises were on the list of Fortune Global 500 with 43 enterprises from the mainland. While comparing Fortune Global 500 with American Top 500, the revenue of Top 500 Chinese Enterprises of Year 2010 was only 17.53% of the World Top 500, 41.4% of the Top 500 American Enterprises while 2002 witnessed a significant improvement by 5.3% and 10% respectively.
