YRPG was awarded the title of "Advanced Unit of Health and Culture Construction" by Chinese Association for Promotion on Health Ideology and Culture on the conference of commending advanced units of health and culture construction as well as the experience exchanges on May 27, as another special honor after "National Outstanding Enterprise Culture" and "Top 10 Harmonious Culture Award of China".
YRPG has persisted in the scientific outlook on development with the construction of a harmonious enterprise as its target and concerned the enterprise’s ideology, political and culture construction with the party construction as an important channel so as to strive to create a characteristic enterprise culture featuring harmonious and active spirit, promote the culture force with the thoughts, upgrade the soft strength of the enterprise’s competitiveness with its culture force and drive the enterprise’s development in a sound and rapid manner. In terms of the enterprise’s culture construction, YRPG has established the enterprise concept of "being enterprising and caring about all flesh", the enterprise spirit of "being persistent, enterprising, cooperative and never contented", the enterprise principle of "impartiality, equity and openness" and the operation culture of "being honest and making drugs with good faith" to enable the enterprise culture effectively covering the employees’ thinking mode, action method, golden rule and method of dealing with affairs by unceasing propagandizing and developing the enterprise spirit and philosophy.
Colorful activities in terms of the enterprise culture have been developed to enable the YRPG construction realized in a harmonious and leaping-forward manner. The group’s CPC Committee and Workers Union would hold the chorus competition of revolutionary songs with the theme of "singing revolutionary songs to appreciate the party and motherland" on the eve before July 1 of each year so as to celebrate the party’s birthday. Various departments and companies participated actively and prepared elaborately to take all the fight and inspire employees with loud songs in order to further stimulate all employees’ passion of loving the party, motherland and enterprise, carry forward the patriotism spirit and further promote the harmonious enterprise culture; besides, the group also made use of holidays to develop the employees folk art festival, "National Day" singing and speech competition, employees interesting sports games, ping-pong game, basketball game, badminton game and football game to deepen the enterprise culture connotations, intensify the enterprise’s cohesive and centripetal force by means of colorful leisure-time activities among emp. At the same time, the group further did well in YRPG Newspaper, YRPG Magazine and YRPG website as the carrier to provide cultural banquet and spirit food for all employees and enable them as a fancy name card in popularizing the enterprise’s image and representing the enterprise’s style.
Developing the charity undertaking, concerning the disadvantageous groups and sharing burdens with the state has enabled YRPG charity culture even more shining. In 2003, YRPG established its own charity society with specific funds appropriated. Leaders from the group’s CPC Committee and the charity society would visit needy families to deliver the consolation money before the Spring Festival of each year to pass the party’s warmth and the enterprise’s love. YRPG Charity Society has donated over RMB10million in the past seven years to help the needy family, assist the needy students and construct roads and bridges, etc. and over 6000 needy persons benefited from it. Besides, YRPG donated drugs and RMB 23 million and its employees donated blood over 50,000ml voluntarily at the first time upon the occurrence of Wenchuan earthquake on May 12. YRPG has donated accumulative fund and materials beyond RMB 300 million for disaster relief, poverty alleviation, army support and people cure, etc. ever since it was establishmed30 years ago. It has scrupulously abided by the social responsibility as an outstanding pharmaceutical enterprise.
