Signing Ceremony of Cooperation between YRPG and Holland SUB Company Was Held

The cooperation signing ceremony between YRPG and South Holland SUB Company and Leiden Bio Science Park was held at Holland Pavilion, a pavilion filled with high-tech elements of Shanghai Expo Park on June 14. Asje van Dijk, Deputy Director of South Holland, Jan Van der Greef, CEO of SUB Company and Senior Professor of TNO signed with Xu Jingren, Chairman of YRPG respectively with Li Daning, Deputy Director of State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and relevant leaders from National Chamber of Commerce for Medical Insurance and Sichuan Provincial Department of Science and Technology were attending the ceremony.
The cooperation would include the registration and accreditation of TCM in Europe Union; the R&D of TCM, the establishment of Medical Research Center Integrating Traditional and Western Medicine and the establishment of an cooperation institution or overseas subsidiary company to promote the sales of TCM and similar products in European market; besides, YRPG further planned to establish a subsidiary company at Leiden Bio Science Park of South Holland to cultivate talents with joint efforts of Leiden University.
Deputy Director Li Daning congratulated both parties for their cooperation. He pointed out that the cooperation not only conformed to the national new drug innovation strategy, but also conformed to the national strategy of promoting TCM to the international market. Up to now, there has been no TCM entering the European, American and Japanese markets as a curative medicine. Leaders and experts attending the ceremony all stated that the cooperation could not only be conducive to the export of YRPG’s Chinese herbal products, but also play an active role in promoting domestic TCM enterprises to launch in such mainstream markets as in Europe and U.S.
Chairman Xu Jingren delivered an ardent speech, stating that YRPG would be dedicated to serving people’s health all over the world and hoping that this cooperation would complement our mutual advantages to enable Chinese herbal products to the European market as soon as possible. He stated that both parties had marched a delightful step; nevertheless, more laborious efforts must be made to achieve the prospective cooperation results.
YRPG began to initiate the cooperation with SUB as early as half a year ago. At present, both parties have selected several varieties to develop the European Union’s registration of TCM variety.
Holland SUB Company is an independent company subsidiary to the Netherlands Organization for Applied Scientific Research (TNO), one of the largest research and technological organizations of Europe, as showed in relevant information. It has about 5900 employees with its researches covering such five fields as the life quality, public safety and protection, science and industry, environment and earth science, information and telecommunications. TNO, this non-profitable organization is dedicated to establishing a bridge across the global basic research and the actual application; thus it is renowned as "the leader of international biological system development".
