At present, the ceremony "Beijing Engineering Program with Significant Development in Biopharmaceutical Industry (G20 Engineering)" was grandly held at Beijing. In the initial G20 enterprises including 17 scale enterprises and 6 potential enterprises, Beijing Haiyan Pharmaceutical Company of YRPG was listed on the list of "G20 Potential Enterprises".
"G20 Engineering" would give a full play to the advantages of Beijing to promote Beijing as a bio-pharmaceutical innovation center of Asia-Pacific Region, a manufacturing center of top products and a converging region of enterprises. It tended to underline the policy support for the development of bio-pharmaceutical industry so as to develop pioneers to support the industry development. The engineering would be developed by two phases. Phase I from 2010 to 2012 would focus on the rapid upgrading of Beijing bio-pharmaceutical industry scale so as to increase the industry scale from the current less than
40 billion Yuan to 100 billion Yuan. Phase II aims to increase the bio-pharmaceutical industry’s contribution to the capital’s industrial added value by over 5% within another five years so as to drive the bio-pharmaceutical industry to be a pillar industry supporting the economic and social development of the capital city.
Beijing Haiyan Pharmaceutical Company, as a wholly-owned subsidiary of YRPG, is located at the Life Science Park of Zhongguancun, covering an area of 99mu.
