YRPG held its 23rd Quality Month Awarding Conference from May 25 to May 272000 cadres and employees from production department and quality control department attended the conference. Chairman Xu Jingren delivered a speech.
Heads from Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group Corporation, Jiangsu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Haici Bio-Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and the production guidance center delivered summary reports to share experiences and practices; at the same time, they analyzed deficiencies in their work to identify their directions in the future.
The study of the new GMP and the 2010 Pharmacopoeia of the Republic of China and disparity elimination were the priorities of the 23rd Quality Month activity. The group has carried out large-scale propaganda ever since March to eliminate hidden quality troubles in an all-round way with substantial achievements. The development of the Quality Month activity has increased employees' awareness on quality and solved some outstanding problems in the production process. It has further improved the quality control system and laid down solid foundation for the rapid increase of products sales.
Chairman Xu Jingren acknowledged the effects of the 23rd Quality Month activity and pointed out that the production and quality department shall always protect the patients with safe and effective medication, make efforts to set up a proficient quality control team and establish a long-term, stable and safe management control system. Besides, YRPG should learn from international standards, and internationally advanced quality management experience and measures to work out a long-term planning and recent targets beyond the international standard. Chairman Xu also proposed specific requirements for the 24th Quality Month in September.
Outstanding groups during the Quality Month were awarded. No. 2 Workshop of the group, the Quality Control Department of Jiangsu Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. and the Synthetic Workshop of Jiangsu Haici Bio-pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. awarded the first prize and the alternate red flag of the Quality Month while four other units were awarded the second and the third prize.
Though the 23rd Quality Month was over, the quality improvement is still going on. YRPG’s pursuit of quality is relentless.
