The new spring witnessed the convening of the “Two Sessions” which attracted the worldwide attentions. Xu Jingren, representative of national people’s congress and Chairman of YRPG, with the great trust of the people and new achievements of the enterprise’s sound and rapid development, went into the magnificent Great Hall of the People to discuss national affairs with various representatives and commissars of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
“I heard from comrades from several departments that Taizhou did well in the pharmaceutical town project. What about the development of YRPG last year?” Hu Jingtao, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, President of the People’s Republic of China and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, joined with representatives and concerned about the enterprise’s development with representative Xu Jingren after the discussion with Jiangsu Delegation.
“We’ve been bringing in high-tech talents and establishing the innovative team as required by you to develop the enterprise to be the most outstanding one in Jiangsu Province and the entire nation as well.” replied by Xu Jingren.
General Secretary Hu delivered high expectations of YRPG to bring in top talents, carry out innovative R&D, march into the international market as soon as possible and develop the enterprise stronger on the same day of last year. Within the year, YRPG has established and implemented new strategic planning for the near future, mid-term and long-term aspect, developed the chemical drugs, TCM and biological drugs simultaneously, promoted the talents and project introduction together with the “95 Building” for research purposes with new achievements obtained in terms of the independent R&D, combination of production, study and research, experienced talents introduction and R&D network system perfection. Up to now, 12 licenses for producing new drugs have been obtained during the year, among which, 4 exclusive varieties have accessed into the market successfully. The enterprise has realized the sales volume beyond RMB18billion as reported to the General Secretary with the brand new achievement. 
General Secretary nodded with smile and enjoined sincerely: “Our country features a large pharmaceutical market and the pharmaceutical enterprises enjoy great potentials for development; nevertheless, the drugs with independent intellectual property rights are mostly lacked. Thus you must intensify the R&D of new drugs”.
General Secretary’s words were sincere and pointed out the right direction of the future of pharmaceutical enterprises in China with special feelings to his hometown contained therein. Xu Jingren was feeling rather warm in heart.
“We will not let you down and spare no effort to construct and develop our enterprise”, Xu Jingren replied with great confidence and sincerely invited General Secretary to visit back.
Sincere entrustment and ardent expectations inspired us a lot. With the convening of the “Two Sessions”, YRPG shall convey and implement the spirit of the “Two Sessions” as well as General Secretary Hu’s guidance as soon as possible to accelerate the transformation of the development method, upgrade the independent innovations and promote the transformation from the “YRPG manufacture” to the “YRPG creation” in a solid manner.
The group has established the struggle target of realizing the sales volume of 50million Yuan by the end of the “12th five-year” with a series of strategies deployed in an all-round way and implemented in a stable manner.
