As one of the key activities to celebrate the 20th anniversary of China Quality Association for Pharmaceuticals (CQA), The 20 Stars in 20 Years of Chinese Medical Quality Control Commending and Exchange Conferencewas held from January 27 to January 28 in Beijing. YRPG was honored the title of “Pharmaceutical Quality Control Enterprise Star” for the 20th time, at the same time President Xu Jingren was honored the title of “Pharmaceutical Quality Manager Star” for the 20th time.
In 2009, CQA launched an event of selecting 20 quality enterprise stars and 20 pharmaceutical quality manager stars of highly effective quality management in 20 years in the nationwide area. The activity of “20 stars in 20 years” required that all the selected enterprise candidates were typically representative in the pharmaceutical industry, which could fully reflect the era characteristics of the blooming industry; and all the selected advanced managers could feature outstanding contributions to the quality control and have impact on the industry to a certain extent. The “20 stars in 20 years” covered such areas as the production, commercial distribution and research and development with various sub-sectors with Chinese and western medicine, biologics, medical devices, and drug packaging, etc. involved, covering various periods in the past 20 years. All the selected enterprise and manager candidates have exerted a significant impact on the quality control and integrity of the entire pharmaceutical industry in a particular historical era, which could trace the development history of the pharmaceutical industry in 20 years.
This event selection primarily focused on superior enterprises without important quality accidents, accusations or complaints against any quality problems in such two decades. YRPG’s honorable appraisal as “20 stars in 20 years” was a sufficient confirmation of its quality control and an utmost encouragement of YRPG members, with President Xu Jingren as a representative, for their dedication to R&D, production and operation of high-standard and high-quality drugs. This special honor was not only another quality honor after “Jiangsu Provincial Quality Award”, “Special Award for Outstanding Enterprises in the 30th Anniversary Quality Control Group Activity of National Pharmaceutical Industry”, “Outstanding Leader of the National Pharmaceutical Industry Quality Management Group Activities”, but also the recognition of YRPG quality by the public.
