In order to present a gift to the 60th anniversary of the country and to the everlasting pharmaceutical industry, the list of “top 60 people in the 60 years of the Chinese pharmaceutical industry” sponsored by 13 industrial associations including China Pharmaceutical Enterprise Management Association, Sohu Health Channel and Pharmaceutical Manager magazine was announced in Chengdu on November 24. President Xu Jingren has become a striking benchmark entrepreneur in the pharmaceutical industry.
Under the leadership of Xu Jingren, YRPG, born in 1971, experiencing the spring of open and reform and more than 30 years’ extraordinary enterprising journey, has been continuously improving new leaps. It presented a great gift to the 60th anniversary of the country with excellent business performance and became a historical witness of the fast development of pharmaceutical industry in China in the great tide of open and reform. Among the 154 candidates, Xu Jingren, as a model in the national medicine, has been listed together with Deng Rongxian, the inventor of artemisine and Qi Moujia and Tong Cun, who have made great contribution to the national medical reform development and R&D and industrialization of the first domestic penicillin.
The activity reviewed the development history of the pharmaceutical industry in the 60 years in such chapters as “Chinese creation myth, general reforms and magnificent chapter”. The 60 persons selected are 60 excellent industrial name cards, reflecting a hand scroll of painting of the 60 years’ of Chinese pharmaceutical industry with vivid characteristics. The activity lasting 6 months, experiencing merit presentation and strict assessment procedures, violated the representatives of men of the day in the 60 years’ development of the industry. Besides the 60 Men of the Day, 40 excellent representatives were selected, who are the concentration of elites of the pharmaceutical industry.
