On October 13, Mayor Yao Jianhua, Municipal Secretary General Wang Qun, and District Director Zhang Xiaobing came to YRPG Pharmaceutical Group Co. Ltd to inspect the major project construction situation. Xu Jingren and Sun Tianjiang accompanied in the survey.
On the 301mu construction site there was a heated construction scene. Blocks of high-rise buildings are going up, witnessing the speed and extraordinary boldness of YRPG. On this hot land with total investment more than RMB 800 million and the total construction area of 160,000 m², the projects being built include Jiangsu Province (YRPG) New Pharmaceutical Research Institute and 6 manufacturing plants, living facilities, power devices, etc., in which the investment of Phase I is about RMB 400 million. Currently the oral solution building of the construction area as 20,000m²and advanced facilities have been finished in civil engineering. It is expected to carry out the GMP certification and put it into operation before the end of the year so as to relieve the problem of tense production capacity of dosage forms.
The "95 Research and Development Building" of the research institute is composed by a 15-floor building and a 9- floor scientific and research building, with a total construction area of over 30,000 m². Yao Jianhua was very concerned about the progress of this construction project. He was informed that by the end of this year the civil engineering of this project would be completely finished and that in the first half of next year the instruments and equipment installation would be completed. Yao Jianhua said with great satisfaction that the project should be paid attention to, the quality to be guaranteed, and it was necessary to keep up with the introduction of new talents, to bring new improvements of the independent innovation capabilities of the enterprise by the construction of the research institute.
Yao Jianhua emphasized that the future development of YRPG must rely on technical innovation, particularly focusing on the construction of a high-tech innovation research and development platform, putting an effort on creating technical talent teams, focusing on accelerating the pace of scientific and technological achievements, working hard to make such aspects as science and technology strength, research and development level and transformation of achievements always on a upper level of the country. He encouraged YRPG people to continue making efforts, to strive for excellent performance in order to make greater contributions to Taizhou's industrial economy.
