With the arrival of the "119 Firefighting Day", YRPG solemnly held the 16^thFirefighting Sport Games to popularize the firefighting safety knowledge to all cadres and employees, creating among all staff a good atmosphere of "being concerned about fire-fighting, participating in fire-fighting and caring about safety".
These fire-fighting sport games feature 5 competition items such as the 4×100 meters' relay of dry powder fire extinguishers, 50-meter individual hose connection, 100 meters evacuation of items, 100 meters group hose connection and 100 meters of fire extinguishing by dry powder fire extinguisher. In total, it attracted 9 representative teams from the Group internally and a total of over 200 employees competed actively. These contest items are close to the reality of the enterprise, practical and pertinent. While the employees enjoyed physically and mentally, it also gave them a lively and interesting fire-fighting lesson.
In the competition field, all the members that participated in were very enthusiastic, the crowd of employees constantly cheered for them, and the atmosphere was very warm. At the dry powder fire extinguishers relay, hose connection and other contest items, the team members worked together and fought together to win the honor for the group. In the fire extinguishing contest item, the women team members are "not inferior to men". They tried to be the first, sprinted straight to the source of fire with portable fire extinguishers, orderly opened the fire extinguishers' safety pins, aimed at the source of fire, extinguished the fire in the shortest time, and the site burst of rounds of applause. During the competition, the team members showed a superb level of competition and good mental spirit, receiving consistent high praises from the professional fire extinguishing people and the Group leaders that came to watch the game.
After nearly three hours of fierce battle, the rankings from all the contest events were already generated, and every participant team went back with happiness. This time the firefighting sports game further strengthened the safety and firefighting awareness of the employees, and played an active role in the employees' improving such awareness, learning and grasping fire prevention and fire extinguishing as well as self-rescue and survival skills. At the same time, it improved the solidarity and friendship between employees, creating a relaxed and harmonious working atmosphere. As a key firefighting unit in the whole city, YRPG Pharmaceutical Group always attached great importance to the good firefighting and safety work, established and improved various firefighting and safety systems, signed fire control responsibility systems level by level. Every year, the Group invites periodically the firefighting officers to teach onsite, teach firefighting theory, organize observation of fire drills and learn combat skills. Since 1993, the group has already successively held 16 employees firefighting sport games, and the firefighting safety awareness has been deeply rooted. The enterprise has not had fire accidents for many successive years, which has provided a strong safety and security for a sustainable, healthy and rapid development.
