The list of top 500 Chinese enterprises of 2009 selected by China Enterprise Federation and China Enterprise Directors Association was announced on September 5: Jiangsu had 51 enterprises listed, in which Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group Co., Ltd. was ranked No. 346, having increased 13 ranks compared to No. 359 in 2008.
7 enterprises from the pharmaceutical industry were selected into the list, in which China National Pharmaceutical Group Corporation (Sinopharm) was ranked No. 130 with RMB 45.2 billion, followed by Beijing Pharmaceutical Group with RMB 24 billion as No. 239. Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Group was ranked No. 270 with RMB 20.5 billion, Nanjing Pharmaceutical Industry Group No. 322 with RMB 17 billion, Jointown Pharmaceutical Group No. 332 with RMB 16.3 billion, Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group No. 346 with RMB 15.6 billion, and Hayao Group No. 423 with RMB 12.5 billion.
