A few days ago, Taizhou economic and trade commission released Top 100 Private Industrial Enterprises on business income according to the statistic data of 2008. YRPG ranked first in Taizhou private industrial enterprises with its business income of RMB 15.603 billion. It is reported that the average sale revenue of Taizhou private industrial enterprises in 2008 was RMB 1.065 billion, a year-on-year increase of RMB 285 million, up by 36.54%.
Among Top 100 Private Industrial Enterprises, YRPG is the sole company exceeding RMB ten billion  in business income. The business income of five enterprises was between RMB 3 billion to ten billion, increasing four enterprises. The business income of four enterprises was between RMB 2 billion to 3 billion, increasing two enterprises; and the business income of eleven enterprises was between RMB 1 billion to 2 billion , increasing four enterprises.
In 2008, in Taizhou there were more than 333 enterprises whose sales revenue exceeded RMB 100 million, accounting for 79.1% of Taizhou enterprises in the scale of RMB 100 million. Relevant person from Taizhou Economic and Trade Commission concluded that the above data justified that private enterprises were becoming an important support of the local economy.
The district distribution of Top 100 private industrial enterprises showed that there were 23 enterprises in Jingjiang, TaiXing, 22 in Taizhou urban area (including Hailing District, Gaogang District, Urban District, and Development Zone), 19 in XingHua, and 13 in Jiangyan.
In addition, in 2008, Taizhou had five enterprises listed in Jiangsu Top 100 Private Enterprises on business income, including the following industrial enterprises: YRPG, Jiangsu New Times Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., Jiangsu New Century Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., and Meilan Chemical Group Co., Ltd., respectively occupying the 14th, 29th, 78th and 92nd position; and one construction enterprise, i.e. Jiangsu Zhongxing Construction Co., Ltd. (the 51st position).
