Former President of Academy of Military Sciences, Major General, Zhao Dasheng Visited YRPG

On April 14th, Zhao Dasheng, Major General researcher, and former president of the Academy of Military Medical Sciences of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army, Liu Keliang, director of Pharmacology and Toxicology Research Institute and other seven people visited and investigated YRPG to discuss on several issues of industry-university-research cooperation, talent introduction and exchange, etc. President Xu Jingren and Vice-president Sun Tianjiang accompanied them during the visit.
Zhao Dasheng and others visited the construction field of Jiangsu (Taizhou) New Drug Research Institute, investigated the Quality Inspection Center, and the workshops of new soft capsules and emulsions, etc. and learned about the development process and innovative research of YRPG. Zhao Dasheng agreed with the development idea of YRPG - “Innovation with Technology and Prosperity with Quality”, appraised YRPG for its rapid development and great achievements, and called YRPG the miracle and pride of the national medicine industry.
Xu Jingren said that the cooperation between YRPG and the Academy of Military Medical Sciences of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army would bring forward great benefits. The Group has never put so much emphasis on innovation. Great importance was attached to transforming innovation, research and development to the level of strategies. Investments in research and development were ever enlarging to accelerate the construction of high-level R&D platform and strengthen the efforts to high-level talents introduction. The other five production bases and R&D institutes outside the headquarters of YRPG enjoy unique advantages in their locations, resources , industrialization and marketization. He sincerely hoped that the cooperation between the Academy of Military Medical Sciences and enterprises could be further deepened to seek win-win development.
Zhao Dasheng suggested that YRPG should strengthen the efforts for technological innovation, integration of R&D resources and the construction of platforms for high-level technical talents and the research and development of new drugs. He said that the Academy of Military Medical Sciences would expand the cooperation with YRPG to accelerate industry-university-research cooperation and push forward the development of Chinese medicine industry with joint efforts.
