On the news conference held a few days earlier, State Government of Jiangsu Province released the actual tax preference results for enterprises of local taxation bureau. The Top 100 Local Taxation List of 2008 was also released, on which YRPG came as the 33^rd.
Tax revenue is called the “barometer” of economy. In 2008, land tax revenue of Jiangsu Province was RMB 165,837,000,000, which increased by 21.5% compared with that of the previous year and ranked third in the country, after Guangdong Province and Shanghai. Last year, the total tax contributed by top 100 enterprises was RMB 12,180,000,000, which increased by 35% compared with that of the previous year. This was larger than the 13.5% average increase rate of land tax revenue of the whole province, and took up 9.2% of the land tax revenue of the whole province, which was a slice 0.3% decrease compared with that of the previous year. The top 100 enterprises continued to be the pillar for the economic development of Jiangsu Province.
There were only three enterprises from Taizhou listed. Except YRPG, the other two were Pengxin Real Estate Development Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Yaxing Anchor Chain Co., Ltd., which came as 86^th and 92^nd on the list.
