On March 31, Ma Jiantang, Director of National Bureau of Statistics of China, visited YRPG to investigate the production and operation in the financial crisis.
The Provincial Party Standing Committee member and Executive Vice Governor Zhao Kezhi, Director of Provincial Bureau of Statistics Zhang Weidong, Team Leader of Jiangsu Survey Team of National Bureau of Statistics Fan Yanchao, municipal leaders Yao Jianhua, Liu Jianguo, and Lu Peimin, etc. accompanied Ma Jiantang in the investigation.
Ma Jiantang and other leaders visited the Quality Inspection Center of the Group. YRPG has won the gold prizes of National Pharmaceutical Industry Quality QC (Quality Control) for the consecutive four years. YRPG has eighteen products meeting the foreign pharmacopoeia standard. Ma Jiantang said that quality is the enterprise's lifeline deserving persistent attention.
President Xu Jingren reported the enterprise development to Ma Jiantang. Xu reported that the enterprise has been seeking development based on science and technology innovation, and fulfilling the enterprise responsibilities without downsizing or payment cuts. In this January and February, the accumulative production value, sales amount and taxation of profit have increased by more than 20%. Ma Jiantang highly praised the YRPG performance obtained under the serious financial crisis.
Ma Jiantang indicated that independent innovation is the fundamental driver for the enterprise development. Pharmaceutical enterprises are expected to continuously increase research input, and strive to improve the independent innovation ability, so as to build the core competitiveness. He hopes YRPG continues to play the demonstration role, taking the lead in independent innovation.
