On February 3, YRPG held the 1st Science Power-New Spring Fellowship Meeting with Taizhou Science and Technology Bureau. At the meeting, they discussed YRPG's objective of revitalizing and strengthening enterprises with science and technology. Xu Shuping, Director of Taizhou Science and Technology Bureau and Xu Jingren, YRPG's President attended the meeting.
At the meeting, Xu Jingren introduced YRPG's scientific and technological innovations. In 2008, YRPG accumulatively gained 24 production approvals, applied for 15 patents and was granted the title of National First Innovative Enterprises. Scientific and technological innovation promoted YRPG's development. Last year, YRPG's sales, profits and taxes increased by over 20% and all main economic indicators reached a new high. In 2009, YRPG strengthened its independent innovation and made efforts to construct R & D platform and introduce talents to establish a top innovative team and a top new medicine institute in China. Xu Jingren asked Taizhou Science and Technology Bureau to continue to give support and care to YRPG's development.
Xu Shuping said that this meeting aimed to publicize scientific and technological policies, explain project declaration procedures, communicate work planning, consult enterprises' opinions and suggestion, and learn enterprises' requirements. YRPG was the leading enterprise in Taizhou, and played an important role in promoting Taizhou's economic development. It was their responsibilities to serve for enterprises. In 2009, Taizhou Science and Technology Bureau will continue to strengthen their services in project declaration and talent introduction and help enterprises to accelerate R & D platform construction and enterprises' independent innovation. They will perform their due responsibilities for YRPG's development.
