On January 16, Yangtze River Pharmaceutical Group held a new year tea party of old cadres to report the development of the Group of this year to old cadres and leaders. Chen Keqin, Chairman of CPPCC of the city, Wang Zhennan, Vice Director of the municipal standing committee of CPC, Zhang Xiaobing, Director of the District, Ren Shounan, Vice Secretary of the Communist Party Committee and Chairman of CPPCC of the District, and Xu Jingren attended the tea party.
The tea party was held in a happy and relaxed atmosphere. Xu Jingren carefully asked every old cadre and leader about their health situation, sent them new year greetings and presented sincere appreciations for cares and supports given to the development of the enterprise in the long term.
Xu Jingren introduced the development situation of the enterprise in the past year in details. In the extraordinary 2008, YRPG experienced the ardent trust of Secretary-general Hu Jintao on the enterprise’s development and the solemn historical moment of the Olympic Fire passing in Taizhou. Facing the changing market environment with heated competition, the Group strengthened the resolution in scientific development, seeking for changes by innovations, going upward against the tendency, and overcoming the difficulties, having created historical good performances. The sales and the tax contribution obtained by the Group has increased respectively 20.6% and 21.8% compared to the same period last year, continuing its front position in the national pharmaceutical industry.
The old cadres expressed sincere praises and appreciations to the brilliant performance obtained by YRPG in the past year, encouraged the company to continue working hard, and try to leap forward following the target of becoming a world-level pharmaceutical enterprise. Xu Jingren expected the old cadres to take care of themselves, keep using their capacities to care and support the development of the enterprise as always.
