From January 18 to 20, the Communist Party members and cadres of YRPG Pharmaceutical Group went deep into villages and towns of Gaogang District to salute the poor. 296 poor families received happily a relief fund to celebrate a happy Chinese new year.
“How many people are there in your family? Do you have any difficulty?” In every poor family, leaders of the Group inquired the poor’s health and situation, expressed good wishes. In the sub-district offices of Kou’an, Diaopu and Xuzhuang, the poor families gathered together very early to wait for the coming of the YRPG saluting team. Every family received RMB500 happily. Wang Qian, a 13-year-old girl living in Group 11, Dasi Village, Dasi Town got leukemia unfortunately 3 years ago, and her family got poor due to her illness. This time the leaders from YRPG Pharmaceutical came to the door for sympathy. The little girl showed her great smile. A family with amentia in Chenjia Village, Baima Town had very bad house. Many warm-hearted people came, which made the cool house warm, attracted many neighbors.
The love from YRPG people nourishes the hearts of the poor. “It is true luck of the people that Gaogang has such as good company as YRPG!” They appreciated the cares from the Communist Party, the government and the enterprise deeply from the bottom of the heart. Since 2005, Yangtze River has adhered to carry out the sympathy activity every year, in which the Communist Party members and the cadres actively donated, visited the poor and built a harmonious social practice. During the four years, YRPG has donated more than RMB600,000 to the society, having won wide praise from the society. Many Communist Party members and cadres from YRPG that had been made rich have been passionate in helping the poor and devoting to the public welfare, being in the front of the contribution to the society.
“The development of YRPG cannot be separated from the support of the fellow countrymen. It is the responsibility of enterprise to reward the hometown and care the life of people,” Xu Jingren said. As early as in 2003, YRPG established a charity fund in Gaogang District to help the students from poor family, rescue and aid the weak Groups of the society and support the construction of new villages, having invested more than RMB 6 million to the society. Before the Chinese new year this time, YRPG donated RMB 4 million at once to Gaogang District to help relieve worries for the government, and solve problems for the people so that the whole society could enjoy the achievements of the development of the enterprise.
