YRPG Held the 15th Firefighting Sports Meeting

November 9 this year is the 17th “119” Firefighting Day of China. In order to further strengthen the employees’ awareness on firefighting safety, improve the enterprise’s ability in preventing fire and creating an atmosphere in which everyone pays attention on fire control, in the afternoon of November 11, YRPG ceremoniously held the 15the Firefighting Sports Meeting. Several hundred employees from the internal line of the Group contested the firefighting skills on the same site, carried out intensive and heated competition. Leaders from the municipal and the district fire brigades came to guide and watch the competition.
The firefighting sports meeting featured such competition items as relay of dry powder fire extinguishers, objects’ evacuation, individual and group water hose connection and fire extinguishing by dry powder fire extinguishers. On the sports meeting, the team members that were working hard on the production frontline of the enterprise became strong and vigorous athletes on the field. They exerted their capacities and sufficiently showed the firefighting skills trained. In front the strong fire from the oil barrels, they took dry powder fire extinguishers and rushed to the targets. After the smoke, the flames were turned out. They threw the water hose and connect to the water distributors, running fast toward the designation, and the water hose was connected to the destination in less than 20 seconds…Wonderful performance won continuous cheers from the audience on the site. Through heated competition, Manufacture Department No. 2 and No. 3 almost won the top three of every item in this match.
 
YRPG has held employees’ firefighting sports meeting for 15 years successively by now. All the attending athletes considered that such drilling is very permanent, playing great significance on improving firefighting skills and strengthening safety prevention awareness. They would teach the knowledge and the skills learned in the competition to the fellow employees based on their positions so as to make due contributions for guaranteeing the firefighting safety of the enterprise.
