The list of Top 500 Enterprises of China on Taxation of Year 2007 was released under the joint assessment of State Bureau of Taxation and China Taxation Periodical Office on October 11. YRPG was ranked 230th of all the 500 enterprises with its annual taxes paid summing up to RMB 683,970,000 and 4th in Top 10 enterprises of Chinese pharmaceuticals industry on taxation in all the 16 industries, telling people the further improvement of its overall strength.
This is the 8th release of the list. Taxation in China can be told and analyzed from different aspects via the ranking. Eight lists have been released this time, namely, Top 500 Enterprises of China on Taxation, Top 500 (overall ranking) Independent Enterprises of China on Local Taxation, Top 100 Foreign-funded Enterprises (including those invested by HK, Macao and Taiwan Merchants) of China on Taxation, Top 100 Private Enterprises of China on Taxation, Top 100 Enterprises of China on Income Taxation, Top 100 Enterprises of China on Withheld and Remitted Personal Income Taxation, Top 100 Independent Enterprises in 40 Industries of China and Top 10 Enterprises in 10 industries of China.
Year 2007 witnessed the stable and fast economic development of China. GDP, reaching RMB 24,661,900,000,000, registered an 11.4% growth from last year with national tax revenue reaching RMB 4,944,900,000,000 under a year-on-year growth of 31.39%. In 2007, the total taxes paid by the top 500 enterprises on the lists added up to RMB 1,436,584,000,000, accounting for 29.05% of national tax revenue. 26 enterprises paid taxes of more than 10 billion, among which China National Petroleum Corporation, China Petrochemical Corporation, State Grid Corporation of China, China Mobile Communications Corporation and China Construction Bank Limited are ranked top 5 and China National Petroleum Corporation held a safe lead with its paid-in tax of RMB 184,466,000,000.
In the list of Top 500 Enterprises of China on Taxation of Year 2006, YRPG was ranked 381st. The topping rank of YRPG shows the trend of stable and fast development as well as its potential of growth. Xu Jingren expressed himself that it was an honor for YRPG to be listed in Top 500 and YRPG would keep its fine tradition of paying taxes lawfully and credibly in the future to make contribution to national tax revenue and national pharmaceuticals industry with its hard work.
