The first “Cost Reduction, Expense Saving and Effect Improvement Month” activity of YRPG was vigorously held in July with the mobilization conference grandly convened on July 11. Over 200 people including principals from various departments and partial staff representatives attended the conference while Xu Liqin, Sun Tianjiang, Liu Xiuxia and Liang Yuantai as well as other leaders were present. 
With the “coast reduction, expense saving, innovation and effect improvement” as the theme, various departments shall detail the objectives according to the unified deployment, deepen and examine various steps in an all-round way including the purchase, R&D, project, production and management so as to hackle problems therein, implement measures, establish corresponding rules in detail and saving pact. In the implementation, such measures which had best integrated “prevention” and “stoppage” were sufficiently implemented to correct bad practices in work so as to enable the cost reduction, expense saving and effect improvement to be one of the important channels of the group’s effect improvement. Various departments would develop the activity as planned, publicize the result regularly and bring it into the responsibility assessment so as to enable everyone as the principal and responsible part of the activity, and strive to accomplish the task of cost reduction, expense saving and effect improvement of 30 million Yuan in the second half year.
Deputy General Manager Xu Liqin pointed out in the mobilization speech that although YRPG had realized the increase to a certain extent, still lower than the increase level of national pharmaceutical industry; thus the enterprises shall not only implement the scientific outlook on development earnestly but create benefit internally so as to reach the target of topping among enterprises of the same industry in China. Xu Liqin requested various departments to deepen the publicity and do well in the affairs of cost reduction, expense saving and effect improvement instead of formalism so as to enable the activity to be developed in an overall and long-term manner with all employees involved. Beside, in the implementation various departments shall emphasize key projects and pay attention to trivial affairs so as to guarantee the actual effect of the activity; in the activity development course with standard management and unified assessment, various departments shall standardize make adjustments and corrections as to the existing problems in comparison with the original system, establish the corresponding terms and conditions timely so as to perfect the system, reinforce the self-discipline, unceasingly reduce cost and save expenses, and strive to accomplish the task of cost reduction, expense saving and effect improvement of 30 million Yuan. In addition, efforts shall be made to strengthen the checking. The finance department shall follow and examine the statement data as submitted by various departments per month so as to guarantee well-founded resource and correct data for the sake of the rational assessment and appraisal in the future.
Principals from the Finance Department, the Manufacture Department and the Supply Department etc. addressed at the conference respectively. The attending leaders and staff representatives signed their names on the banner of “save each electricity, oil, water, paper and money from my life” to express their confidence and determination of devoting to the group’s activity of cost reduction, expense saving and effect improvement. It was hoped that an upsurge could be raised around the group to reduce cost, save expense and improve effect by means of wide publicity with advanced models to be commended by the general company at the end of the year.
