Dujiangyan Earthquake Relief Headquarters issued a notice recently, announcing that the factory of Hairong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., subsidiary of YRPG, will be used as the earthquake relief materials warehouse to receive relief materials from all regions of China. 12 relief materials distribution stations in this city will request materials from the factory.
Liu Junlin, Commander of Dujiangyan Earthquake Relief Headquarters and Municipal Party Secretary, said, "Hairong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. is the largest pharmaceutical enterprise in Dujiangyan. Its factory is big and with good environment. In this earthquake, the factory does not suffer from serious damage. After the earthquake, we decide to appoint the factory as Dujiangyan Relief Materials Dispatching Center."
Xue Li'an, Principal of Haiyong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. said, "According to YRPG's requirements, we adopt high-standard design and high-quality construction when building the factory."
Hairong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of YRPG. It was established in 2001. The Company is located in Dujiangyan Science & Technology Industry Development Zone. It has an area of near 300 mu. In this earthquake, only one employee suffered from light injury and the main frame of workshops were not damaged seriously. On May 14, YRPG's headquarters sent a letter of consolation and required all employees to actively participate in the relief work.
The earthquake center is in Yingxiu Town, Wenchuan. This town is nearer to Dujiangyan than Wenchuan. Dujiangyan is among the worst-hit areas, and also the entrance for relief teams. In these two days, many relief teams entered Yingxiu Town through the water way of Dujiangyan. The factory of Hairong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. became the temporary relief materials supply center for relief teams.
On the morning of May 15, about 240 best architects and numerous volunteers came to Dujiangyan and began their relief and building emergent assessment work after the earthquake. In case a house was marked in red, the house was dangerous and would be removed in time. Almost all workshops in Hairong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. were marked in green. This meant they were safe for living. Xue Li'an said, "Since medicine production has strict requirements for equipment. All equipment can only be used for production after maintenance and repair, which will take some time."
At present, there are thousands of vehicles passing in and out Hairong Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. for donation and acquisitioning. There are over 350 workers and volunteers responsible for traffic, guard, receiving and granting in the factory.
