On the night of May 22, in the activity of "For Women and Children – Earthquake Relief Symphony Benefit Performance", YRPG donated drugs worth RMB 5,000,000 to Wenchuan again to help the disaster-stricken people, especially women and children.
It is reported that this activity was jointly held by National Population and Family Planning Commission of P. R. China, China Symphony Development Foundation, Phoenix TV, China Family Planning Association, China Population Welfare Foundation, China Reproductive Health Industry Association and China Population Culture Promotion Association in Beijing Century Theatre. This activity raised funds and materials with a total value of RMB 44,830,000.
Officers from the National Population and Family Planning Commission of P. R. China said they would send delegations to the disaster area to bring these donations to those in need.
