Premier Wen Jiabao once emphasized in a Government Work Report that we must strengthen the quality and safety of products, so that we shall ensure people to consume them with reliance and reassurance, and bring a good reputation for export products. That assertion aroused strong repercussions. Many entrepreneurs of Jiangsu delegation expressed their own opinions.
President Xu Jingren said that pharmaceutical safety concerns human life, deserving the most discretion. The year before last, YRPG had proposed that its products should meet the international standards. This year, YRPG strives to make all lines of business meet the national standards and establishes long lasting quality supervision and guarantee system.
Xu Jingren claimed that compared with modern international enterprises, the large domestic pharmaceutical enterprises are not weak in equipment and environment, but have gap in institutionalization and production automation, which can be reduced by technology and management. Otherwise, the technical standards are difficult to implement, and trusted medicine cannot be guaranteed.
