[News playback] National Development and Reform Commission, State Food and Drug Administration, China Social Economic Investigation & Research Center and many other ministry units jointly organized a research topic in early 2004 to select 80 pharmaceutical enterprises with outstanding achievements among over 6300 candidates by evaluating the comprehensive competitiveness from over 40 indexes. Consequently, YRPG was ranked on the top in terms of the comprehensive mark, the champion of national pharmaceutical enterprises with the most competitiveness.
[Interpretation] The rapid development of YRPG is a miracle in China’s pharmaceutical history. It is named as "YRPG" phenomenon by some people. Xu Jingren explained that YRPG would not carry out the diversified development or merger or amalgamation but forge the enterprise’s core competitiveness depending on the technical innovation, great talents and scale expansion.
[Demonstration] YRPG has invested a lot into its scientific progress frequently, a modern production line beyond RMB100million, the adoption of imported equipment and scientific research equipment above RMB10million only for the purpose of construing a strong technical and innovative platform. At the same time, YRPG people have proposed the slogan of "shaking hand with doctors and academicians before shaking hands with knowledge economy". The enterprise will introduce a large batch of high-level talents for scientific research including undergraduate students, graduates and doctors every year so as to construct the talent highland and drive the improvement of the group’s overall innovation level.
It is another step of YRPG to create the core competitiveness by seizing the coastal development opportunities and implementing the expansion development strategy of "several circles with the same center". In such several years, YRPG has invested over RMB1billion to establish Shanghai Haini Pharmaceutical Company at Shanghai, establish Nanjing Hailing Pharmaceutical Company at Nanjing, establish Sichuan Hairong Pharmaceutical Company at Chengdu, a west China city, create Beijing Haiyan Pharmaceutical Company at Beijing and construct Guangzhou Hairui Pharmaceutical Company at Guangzhou. With the thriving development of each subsidiary company, YRPG has accumulated stronger competitiveness.
