[News playback] National Bureau of Statistics and China Industrial Information Issuing Center jointly promulgated the list of "Top 10 National Industries of Independent Innovative Abilities" in November 2006. YRPG was honored the "Top 10 National Industries of Independent Innovations of Large and Moderate-Sized Enterprises" and ranked on the top in the chemical preparation manufacturing industry.
[Interpretation] YRPG could maintain the strong competitive advantages in face of intense competition of the pharmaceutical industry by greatly depending on the transformation of its scientific and technological innovation to the market competition advantage. YRPG has unceasingly increased its investment in science and technology under the leadership of "independent innovation to lead the future". In recent years, the group has invested as much as RMB1billion in the scientific and technological innovations to form an innovative system with YRPG characteristics.
[Demonstration]YRPG has established its technical innovation framework composed by six departments including three pharmaceutical research offices at its headquarter to primarily research and develop new drugs with independent intellectual property rights. The group has taken the lead in establishing the National Enterprise Technical Center, the National Engineering Research Center of TCM Pharmaceutical Technology and the Post-Doctoral Scientific Research Station. The enterprise would invest over 5% of its sales income to the independent innovation researches for each year. Thus over 15 new drugs on average have been developed for each year ever since 1996. 
In virtue of its superior R&D platform for independent innovation, YRPG has had 8 products listed as national high-and-new technical products and the sparking plan project during the "10th five years plan", 24 technical improvement projects listed as key scientific and technological breakthrough projects during the "10th five years plan" by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the national engineering center projects and the provincial important transformation projects of scientific and technological achievements. The ginkgo leave project was appraised as the national high-and-new technical industrialization model engineering.
