As a good news from the work conference of scientific and technological directors of the province as convened several days ago, YRPG was appraised as "Top 100 Private Scientific and Technological Enterprises of Jiangsu Province", which was an affirmation of its scientific and technological strength, and even an encouragement to its independent innovation.
YRPG has persisted in following the development road of scientific and technological innovation to promote the development with science and technology, unceasingly increase its independent innovation abilities, and establish the leading status among enterprises of the same industry. At present, the group has possessed several national R&D technical platforms, that is, the State-Accredited Enterprise Technology Center, State Key Laboratory for Advanced and Novel Pharmaceutical Formulation Technology, TCM Manufacturing Craftwork National Engineering Center, Post-Doctorate Scientific Research Station, etc.; at the same time, Jiangsu (Taizhou) New Drug Research Institute under construction has been listed as the key R&D institute construction project during the "11th five years" period of Jiangsu Province with its technical innovation system becoming increasingly mature day by day. With continuous efforts to intensify the scientific and technological innovation system construction, YRPG has obtained a series of scientific and technological achievements, including four national new products, eight national torch program projects, 20 high-and-new technical products of Jiangsu Province, a national scientific and technological progress award, 17 creation patents and 27 appearance design patents.
In recent years, the private scientific and technological enterprises, with YRPG as the outstanding representative, have been developing rapidly and become an important force with the most enterprising spirit, innovative vitality and excellent strength of the private economic development of Jiangsu Province. As this appraisal activity of "Top 100 Private Scientific and Technological Enterprises of Jiangsu Province" was carried out for the first time, the conditions were rather rigorous. It was a new approach adopted by the province to encourage and support private scientific and technological enterprise to make innovations and become stronger. The Provincial Department of Science & Technology stated it would develop the appraisal activity every year or every two years.
