Assessment Indicators of YRPG's Technology Center Led in the Industry

Several days ago, the National Development and Reform Commission issued the No. 50 Announcement, stating the assessment results of nation-recognized enterprise technology centers in 2007. Among 438 assessed enterprises, YRPG's technology center ranked the 71st; YRPG's science and technology activity expenditures ranked the 78th; YRPG was also the only enterprise with an operation scale of over RMB 10 billion in Chinese pharmaceutical industry. YRPG is leading in Chinese pharmaceutical industry with these indicators, thanks to YRPG's constant innovation, which shows YRPG's strong technological innovation abilities.
YRPG is dedicated to independent innovation and the strengthening of technological innovation abilities and systems construction. At present, YRPG has 3 national R&D platforms and laboratories; Jiangsu (Taizhou) New Drug Institute (in construction) has four R&D centers, that is, ChemotherapyR&D Technology Center, Pharmaceutical PreparationEngineering Technology Research Center, Traditional Chinese Medicine Manufacturing Process Engineering Research Center and BiologicalMedicineR&D Center. Relying on these technological innovation platforms, YRPG has won 1 National Science and Technology Progress Second Prize, applied for over 70 patents, and undertaken 25 national and provincial important research subjects. YRPG also has over 10 kinds of new medicines in development.
As a comprehensive assessment for enterprise innovation ability, nation-recognized enterprise technology centers should be jointly recognized by National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China, the Ministry of Finance of the People's Republic of China, State Administration of Taxation and the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China. The assessment system is divided into 3 first-level indicators (innovation and system, technology and talent, and output and benefit), 8 second-level indicators and 31 third-level indicators. YRPG was recognized as the national enterprise technology center.
